From block-buster hits to film-festivals, there are many films to see in Bergen.
BIFF
The Bergen International Film Festival, or BIFF, is Norway’s largest film festival. It is normally arranged in September or October, and offers a wide range in documentaries, short films and sneak previews.
Bergen Filmklubb
An independent Film club started in 1961 with screenings of movies at Det Akademiske Kvarter.
Cinemetaket USF
Cinemateket USF is a one-room cinema at USF Verftet, showing everything from premieres to old classics to undiscovered gems. It is the cinema for film-lovers in Bergen! Screening more than 200 titles a year, they offer their audience a wide range of films, from 1895 to present date.
Bergen Kino
Bergen City Cinema. English movies are shown with Norwegian subtitles. These are not dubbed, besides from children’s movies. But these are normally also available in original language. Once a month they have student discount on selected movies.
